What this client says about usLUXURY HOME BUILT ON TIME

Though flood affected, this house does not let that get in the way. In fact, now that the front facade is in, you’d never even know that this stunning home is also flood engineered.

PROJECT TIMELINE
When EBC started our involvement this was still in Council waiting for a Construction Certificate. And we got it out of Council and keys in the owners’ hands in 10 weeks! That includes building the elevated slab for flood waters.
Foundations
EBC Builder Elie Farah is trained in structural engineering, so this was an easy project for our team.
The slab needed to be elevated on concrete piers to allow flood water to pass under. It had to be built up above the flood level specified by council. This home will perform very well in a 1 in 100 year flood.

Slab
An elevated slab was required, and once poured this began to look once again like a standard home. Now it was time to get “out of the ground”.

Framing
Peter and his team are exceptionally fast at building sturdy timber frames for houses. And you need to be fast when delivering houses to clients on time.

Brickwork
Quality bricklaying is essential for sturdy homes and for great street appeal. And this job was done well, and once finished and cleaned looked amazing.

Roofing
An elegant, partially-skillion roof design with skylights required more care and expertise that your average roof.

Plastering
Almost at lock-up, this is where it starts to feel like a house. It is also a critical stage for a relaxing feel, with plenty of angles to break up the monotony of the walls.

Stairs
A stunning timber staircase was built by our carpenters as a feature piece of the entire ground floor.

Driveway
The crossover from the street to the garage is often a forgotten job, but is one of the key features that boosts the street appeal. Our concretors do a consistently superb job with any driveway, and this one is no exception.

Bathroom
Quality fittings and finishings make or break kitchens and bathrooms. These ones, chosen by the client as part of our collaboration certainly make this house.

Landscaping
From streetscape to backyard, this landscaping is elegant and understated. It allows plenty of room to utilise yard space, while adding to the appeal of being outdoors and remaining low-maintenance.
